CA Direct Entry Scheme – After Completing Graduation/ICSI/ICMA

Chartered Accountant is one of the best and reputed profession in our society. This is the highest paid professions. The profession not only gives you money but also gives name and fame. Chartered Accountancy is one of the reputed course in the field of commerce. After becoming CA you can start your own practice or can go for a service. Chartered Accountants enjoys the command in auditing of financial statements. The Chartered Accountants not only provides auditing, but also provides the services of investment banking, financial reporting, risk management, credit analysis and many more.

You can start your career as CA after completing CA final exam. If you are already a graduate/post graduate in commerce field and has an aggregate of 55% marks and graduate/post-graduate of other field with an aggregate of 60% marks  or passed the Intermediate level of ICSI or cost accountants of India, then you have the facility to directly register for the CA Intermediate level. Then after clearing Intermediate level you can apply for CA final. This is called direct entry scheme.

CA Direct Entry Scheme – By ICAI

The ICAI issued the direct entry scheme for the graduate students to pursue CA course. After completing your graduation you can apply for CA Intermediate level with out clearing foundation course. The students can apply for CA Intermediate course through CA direct entry scheme.

Students Who Have Applied for CA Intermediate After Completing Graduation/Post-Graduation Follow The Procedure:

After registering for CA Intermediate course the student have to undergo 8 months of the study period before attempting the CA Intermediate exams. The CA Intermediate course consists of 8 subjects which are divided into 2 groups. After registering for CA Intermediate course the candidate have to complete 4 weeks of ICITSS to register for practical training. After completing ICTSS you have to take articleship program for 9 months.

The candidate who applied for CA Intermediate course through direct entry scheme should complete articleship program for 9 months before attending the CA Intermediate exams. If the candidate clears both the groups of intermediate course, then the student will be eligible to register for CA final course.

The CA Final course has 8 subjects which are divided in to 2 groups. Among the 8 subjects, 1 subject is elective. You have to choose a subject on your own at the time of registration for CA final course.

After clearing both the groups of CA Final course, the last step is to become a member of ICAI. Once you cleared your article ship program and cleared both the groups of CA final, then you will be a member of ICAI. Take your membership number from ICAI.

Students Who Have Passed The Intermediate Level Of ICSI or ICMA have To Follow These Steps:

First you have to register with ICAI for Intermediate course. The Intermediate course consists of 8 subjects which are divided in to 2 groups. After registering for CA Intermediate course you have to go through 8 months of study period.

Now the candidate have to clear any 1 group of the intermediate course and then should register for 3 years practical training. Before the student attending for practical training, they have to complete ICITSS program.

ICITSS program consists of IT (Information Technology) and Orientation Program each for 15 days. So, to get register for practical training, first you have to complete 4 weeks of ICITSS program.

After completing ICITSS program and clearing at least 1 group of Intermediate course, you can start practical training under a practicing Chartered Accountant.

After clearing both the groups of CA Intermediate course you can apply for CA Final course. If the student clears 1 group before starting practical training, then the candidate has to clear another group before applying for CA Final.

While you are at the last 2 years of practical training and appearing for Final exams, you have to complete 4 weeks of Advance ICITSS. This Advance ICITSS program consists of Advance IT (Information Technology) and MCS (Management Communication Skills) each for 15 days.

The students during the last 6 months of practical training can appear for CA Final examination.

So, by completing practical training and clearing both groups of CA Final examination you will be awarded a title as Chartered Accountant.
