University of Rajasthan Admissions
The University offers bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. courses in fields of arts, sciences, management, engineering & technology, law and education. The admission process is different for different courses. The details of admission to courses in detailed in below section.
UG Courses Admissions
To get admission in any UG course the student should complete intermediate from recognized board. The admission to some UG courses is based on merit list (marks obtained in past qualifying exam). For admission to law courses the University accepts valid score of ULET exam which is conducted by the university.
PG Courses Admissions
The university offers master’s courses in many disciplines. To get admission in any PG course, the student should pass bachelor’s course of relevant stream from recognized college or university. The admission to M.Tech course is based on merit list. To pursue management course the student should have valid score of PIM MAT exam. For remaining PG courses the university conducts URATPG exam.
Ph.D. Courses Admissions
To pursue any Ph.D. course the student should complete master’s degree of relevant stream from recognized college or university. To get admission in Ph.D. course the university acceps valis scores of various national level examinations like UGC (NET), CSIR (JRF), SLET, GATE and DST (INSPIRE). The university also conducts personal interview round conducted by specific department.
Placements
As it is the top state university, the placement record is excellent. The University has a separate placement cell. The placement cell conducts job oriented programs to the students which help them to easily get the job.
