Executive course is the second level of company secretary program. The CS aspirants who have cleared foundation level and complete graduation can apply for executive program. The executive program is the main level in company secretary course. If the student clears this executive level, then half of the course is completed. This is the toughest stage in CS course and difficult to complete.

CS Executive Course Eligibility
The students who have cleared foundation course can apply for CS executive course. The candidates who has completed graduation of any stream except fine arts can also apply for executive program. The aspirants who has cleared Foundation course in CA and CMA can also apply for CS Executive program.
Registration Details
The ICSI is the exam conducting body for CS course. If the student reaches the above mentioned eligibility, then the candidate can register for CS executive stage. The students can register for this level through online by visiting official website. The exam conducting board conducts executive program exams 2 times a year in months of June and December. The students can register for the exam based on their choice.
There are 2 modules for CS executive course, the students can apply for both the modules at a time or can apply for individual modules. If the student wants to attempt for both the groups in December exams, then the candidate should register for the exam before Feb 28 of the same year. If the student wants to attempt single module in December, then the student should register before May 31 of the same. If the candidate want to attempt for both the modules in June then the candidate should register for the exam before Aug 31 in the previous year. If the student wants to register for single module to attempt exam in June then he/she should register for the exam before Nov 30 in the previous year.
In Executive program old syllabus there are 7 papers which are divided into 2 modules. Each paper is conducted for 100 marks. The papers consists of descriptive type questions. The CS Executive new syllabus consists of 8 papers which are divided in to 2 modules. Each module consists of 4 papers and each paper is conducted for 100 marks. As these are descriptive type questions there is no negative marking for the questions.
The duration to complete executive program is 9 months without including the months of admission and examination. The students should complete the executive program within the registration period, however they can extend their validity of registration by paying requisite fees.
