CS Professional Stage Eligibility
The only eligibility to pursue professional course is the student should clear all the papers in cs executive level. So, this is the only eligibility to pursue professional course, there is no other way to apply for professional stage.
Registration Details
So, if the student meets the above mentioned eligibility, then the candidate can register for Company Secretary Professional level. This is the final level of CS course.The ICSI is the exam conducting body for CS course. The exam conducting body Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducts CS professional level exams twice a year in months of June and December.
The students who have completed executive level can apply for CS professional stage through online by visiting official website of ICSI. There are 9 papers for company secretary professional course which are divided into 3 modules. The 9th paper is the elective paper and the student can choose any subject of their choice from the provided elective papers.
There are 9 papers for professional course and each paper is conducted for 100 marks. The 9th paper is the elective paper and is the open book system. If the student wants to attempt exams in June then the candidate should register for the exam before 25th September of the previous year and if the aspirant want to attempt exams in December then the student should register before March 25 of the same year.
Each paper is of descriptive type and there is no negative marking. The duration of this professional level is 15 months. The student should complete the professional course with in the registration period, however the student can also extend registration period by paying requisite fees.

The old syllabus of CS professional course consists of 9 papers which are divided in to 3 modules. Each module consists of 3 papers and the final module has paper 9 which has 5 elective papers, out of which the student should select 1 paper. The 9 papers of professional course are mentioned below.
